I will be speaking at DEVintersection in Orlando, FL in April, 2016. I will be doing our 2-day workshop on “Identity and Access Control and Modern Web Applications”, as well as a session on “Security in ASP.NET 5 and MVC 6”, er, I mean “Security in ASP.NET Core and MVC Core”.
Hope to see you there!

Hi Brock, will you be talking about IdentityServer3 in this workshop?
Yes I will!
I am guessing the session involving “Identity and Access Control and Modern Web Applications” will cover IdentityServer. Is this correct?
Brock, do you have any agenda or list of things you are going to discuss in these workshops?
Yep, it’s this outline: http://leastprivilege.com/training/
Brock, my boss has mentioned Shibboleth and CAS Auth servers(He is an opensource guy). Are you guys familiar with these servers? Do they compare with your Identity Server? I am trying to research pros/cons for your server over these others…Thanks…
Shibboleth yes — it’s a SAML2-P based system. SAML2-P is an older protocol being replaced with OIDC.
Perfect, thanks for the info. I’m pushing these guys to make your Aug. session in Las Vegas…Hopefully, I can make that trip.
It’s October in Vegas, IIRC.
